Face reading is the 5,000-year-old art of going beyond expression to learn about character from the physical face. I first encountered physiognomy, or face reading, in 1975. As a researcher of inner life, I had earned how to bring my awareness to a level of truth, right before transcendence, where one can find the answer to any worthwhile question. Whenever interpretations from siang mien or Whiteside's work or any of the other face reading authors did not satisfy me (which was most of the time), I asked inside for the interpretations that rang with truth.
