When he is hungry and ask for food you can give him that healthy food. Another tip from me is mixing their unhealthy favorite food with healthy food. Ask him to do regular exercise. The easiest way for this is asking him to ride a bicycle to his school. If it is far away from home, you can drive him a few blocks from school and he can continue by riding his bicycle to school. You can also encourage him to go to gym for kids. Sport club like basketball or swimming club is also good. It will force them to exercise regularly.

Let's be honest with ourselves. If we want to lose weight we need to try to find ways to burn calories and hopefully burn fat as well. Now it would be ideal if we could burn calories and lose weight by watching television. But it doesn't quite work that way.
So what are some good ways to burn calories and lose weight? Here are a few suggestions and some of them are a little different. Each one will stoke the fires of your fat burning machine and have you losing weight in no time.

Plyometrics

What is plyometrics?. Simply put it is a series of explosive jumps. Plyometrics will speed up your ability to lose weight.

You can stop by a flea market or go to a used tire store in your area and come up with a larger truck tire. Take it home, lay it in your backyard, break out your sledgehammer and go to work on the tire. I would recommend swinging for 1 minute at a time and then taking a 1 minute break. If you cannot swing it for one minute then break the time periods down into more manageable segments.
Start with a 6 lb one and then work your way up and your are better able to handle it. If you scour yard sales, garage sales, flea markets, etc you can probably come up with a sledgehammer (or should I say calorie burning, fat burning, weight losing fitness equipment) pretty cheap.

For my money Burpees are the best fat burning exercise around. If I could only do one exercise for the rest of time then this would be it. It is truly a full body workout. I've been struggling with a negative body image/unhealthy relationship with food for about 5 years. Recently it has spiraled out of control and I feel like I've hit my lowest point. However, even though I understand and embrace the concepts in your book, I'm still struggling with out of control binge eating. Each morning I review the spiritual law of the day, perform the sun salutations, and try and meditate for at least 5 minutes (meditation is a struggle for me) but when the afternoon rolls around all I can think about is food. I start eating and don't stop until I'm extremely full. It's as if I become unconscious and don't know what has hit me until I feel so sick and disgusted with myself.
Is there hope for freedom from this suffering?
Answer:
Yes there is hope to control your binge eating, but it will take some time and persistence to retrain how your body and mind relates to food. Your afternoon cravings are likely based on "emotional hunger" more than real physical hunger. A key element in your gaining control over your eating habits will be learning to listen to the actual physical signals from your body and being able to distinguish those signals from your emotional discomfort. For instance when you are really hungry, your body will send you physical signals that you can feel in your abdomen. When you have eaten enough and are no longer hungry and not yet full, your body will also send you a signal that you can notice if you are paying attention. Your body will provide the intelligence to guide you on when and how much to eat if you learn to listen to it. These two signals are what you need to learn to recognize in order to shift from emotional false-hunger eating to body-intelligence eating.
This is why Ayurveda places such importance to having full attention on eating during your meal. If you are watching TV, checking your email or driving while you eat, then you are not listening to your body and your mind is not fully cooperating with the digestion process.

Here, 59% of respondents believed that supplements had to be approved by a government agency before they could be marketed; 68% believed that supplements had to list potential side effects on their labels; and 55% believed that supplement labels could not make claims of safety without scientific evidence. All of these beliefs are incorrect as a result of provisions of the DSHEA.
Nevertheless, at the time of its passage DSHEA received strong support from consumer grassroots organizations, and Members of Congress. In recognition of this, President Bill Clinton, on signing DSHEA into law, stated that "After several years of intense efforts, manufacturers, experts in nutrition, and legislators, acting in a conscientious alliance with consumers at the grassroots level, have moved successfully to bring common sense to the treatment of dietary supplements under regulation and law." He also noted that the passage of DSHEA "speaks to the diligence with which an unofficial army of nutritionally conscious people worked democratically to change the laws in an area deeply important to them" and that "In an era of greater consciousness among people about the impact of what they eat on how they live, indeed, how long they live, it is appropriate that we have finally reformed the way Government treats consumers and these supplements in a way that encourages good health."

Cold feet is a common symptom of poor circulation (insufficient blood and oxygen supply). This symptom is very common in contemporary population. But when we breathe more air, we usually reduce oxygen quantity in the arterial blood. What is the mechanism?
